Open Day at B+K France

20. September 2017

B+K France celebrated the anniversary with an open day at the plant in Pont Audemer. Employees, their families and retired employees experienced an interesting day with many encounters and informative discussions. The employees clearly and proudly presented the various processes used to manufacture flexible packaging.

Bischof + Klein is growing. This also applies to the French subsidiary, B+K France, which has emerged from what was formerly Sacherie de Pont Audemer. With some 200 employees, B+ K France is a leading supplier of flexible industrial packaging in France. "We are well positioned and want to further expand our position. Our French subsidiary is playing an important role in this", says executive board member Dr. Volker Pfennig.

Bischof + Klein France is one of the leading manufacturers of block bottom valve sacks, open cross bottom sacks, open flat sacks, open side gusseted sacks, PaperTouch® plastic packaging with paper effect, FFS films, SmartFlex® stretch hood films and shrink hoods. In 2016, it generated sales of 33 million euros. Recent years have seen targeted investment in the plant in Normandy, in printing and extrusion capacities as well as safety amongst other aspects. Fabien Pequery, managing director of B+K France: "With these investments, we have created the optimum prerequisites for accessing new markets."
