Ideal meeting point

17. October 2013

Bischof + Klein's diversity impressed visitors to the B+K trade fair stand at the FachPack.

B+K presented its broad range of consumer and industrial packaging solutions for the first time at the trade fair in Nuremberg, which is regarded as one of the industry's most important meeting points in Europe.
Around 34,600 packaging professionals attended to obtain information on the latest product and service trends in the fields of packaging, technology, conversion and logistics. With around 21 percent of attendees coming from foreign countries, especially Austria, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland, the trade fair also proved to be an ideal meeting point for Bischof + Klein.

The B+K trade fair stand enticed both potential new customers and existing customers. The trade fair team was delighted at the high quality of the contacts: "Lots of visitors came with specific questions", reported Bastian Schallenberg, consumer packaging project manager at Bischof + Klein.

In both the consumer and industrial packaging sectors, B+K develops and produces sustainable alternatives to hard packaging or multi-ply paper laminates which reduce materials by up to 80 percent. In 2012, Bischof + Klein was presented with the DFTA-Award for outstanding printing results. "Our ambition is to develop optimally adapted packaging solutions together with our customers and to offer them comprehensive service", stated André Altevogt, packaging sales manager for the petrochemicals and foodstuffs industries at B+K. A high number of long-standing business relationships with international customers confirm this strategy.
